Looking for questions for supervisor candidates
Hey there, Rob Burgess here.
I was just working on the idea of sending a list of survey questions to 11 supervisorial candidates today and I was trying to think of things to ask them. I thought of a few good ones, but then I realized that the best thing to do would be to ask you, my fellow voters, what you wanted to know from those in the running.
So, here's the plan: send your ideas to me at udjrb@pacific.net by Tuesday and I'll pick the best six or so and send them to the candidates. I'll give them until May 5 to respond and we'll try to fit them all into one big edition a few days later.
Good luck, and I look forward to see what you come up with.
Comments
Many people will be asking specific questions about the various popular concerns so I am posting questions that will, I hope, speak to the charactor of the canidates. In my view honesty and being a true public servant is just as important as where a person stands on a particular topic.
Canidates: Be brave and answer:
1) If you hold a deep, personal value yet your constituents want you to vote opposite of your belief how would you vote?
2) How would you be a trusted servant?
3) Will you ask for a raise or other benefits while in office?
4) If two districts (yours and another) were going after the same money pot and the other district needed it more than yours, how would you vote?
Good luck to all!
