City has somewhat different response to salary request
Just as a contrast, I have not had a single call from a city employee about our request for salaries. I have had a couple of calls from the city financial officer Gordon Elton giving me the status of their effort, one problem they were having (wondering if the name of an employee who is under age 18 is releasable - good question) and letting me know how and when I will receive the information. And, Elton also offered to sit down with me and the city’s Interim City Manager to look through the numbers and explain what they mean and answer any questions about them that I may have. Something I plan to do Wednesday.
A somewhat different experience from the county’s response.
