Thompson still a Hillary superdelegate?

I read recently that among California's superdelegates to the Democratic convention was Rep. Mike Thompson who represents Mendocino County and the rest of the 1st Congressional District of the North Coast. He was said to be committed to voting for Hillary Clinton. Now, since his district favors Barak Obama, is he still going to vote for Hillary? A lot of these congressional superdelgates made their minds up long ago and I am wondering, if a superdelegate like Thompson sees that his own district favors the other candidate, can he change his allegiance if the Democratic convention goes down to the wire, which from all indications now, it will.
Anybody know?
Can someone from Thompson's office help me with this?

Many up here are saying Bill Clinton's appearance here in Eureka was the result of a deal between Thompson and the Hillary folks: Thompson's endorsement of Hillary for Bill's appearance here.

Wonder if that deal was cast in stone or if the endorsement and the appearance was the extent of the deal?
